750 Motor Club - H.R. Owen Roadsports Championship

The first race of the season for us was at Brands Hatch on May 10th.  This was the beginning of a long line of wins for the Dare built Ginetta G4....  After a troublesome practice, Mark was able to pull up from 16th on the grid to 4th by the second lap.

 

 

Mallory Park - 31st May - First Place

Snetterton - 2nd August - First Place

Here we took our second outright win of the season, ending the line of hatrick wins from the Lotus Elise.

Thruxton - 6th September - First Place

By this race at Trhuxton we were on aroll.  This was the Dare-built Ginetta G4s fourth and third successive win of the season.  Mark Walklett converted pole position to take a comfortable 9.5 second win from a Lotus Elise.

 

 

Snetterton - 27th September - First Place

We just keep winning.....

This makes it four wins in a row for Mark in our Dare-built Ginetta G4 racer.  Not only did Mark produce the fastest lap of the race, he also left a comfortable 22 second win!

 

 

Silverstone - 10th October - First Place

This being our last race of the season we had to finish in style and of course only the best is enough for Dare.

 

750 Motor Club - H.R. Owen Roadsports Championship

1999 was an extremely hectic year for Dare.  With the launch and production of the Dare DZ and continued development of the recently launched TG Sport.

This meant that the motor racing for this season had to take a back seat.

 

 

Mallory Park - 28 March - First Place

Mark not only came first but gained a lap record of 0:52.28 with an average speed of 92.96 mph.
